The Magic link can also be used to upgrade your KerOS products (Wirnet iBTS, Wirnet iFemtoCell, Wirnet iStation).\\

==== How to upgrade my gateway? ====

<note important>This process must be followed if the gateway is already connected to WMC with gateway firmware version 3.2 or 3.3.</note>

Download the KerOS 4.3.3 to update your gateway from the :
  * [[wiki:wiki3:gateway_sw_4.3.3|Wirnet i-series software release 4.3.3 page]] to upgrade your gateway with the last embedded software\\ 

Then apply the software update procedure defined above: \\

The gateway can be upgraded:
  * By applying a [[wiki:wiki3:magic_link|Magic Link]]
  * With a [[wiki:wiki3:install_upgrade#wmc_drag_n_drop_feature|Drag and Drop]] of the package in the WMC dashboard

===== Embedded gateway software version 3.2 and 3.3 (embedded version before 4.3.3) =====
 
==== How to upgrade my gateway that is ETHERNET (DHCP IP assigned), GSM or WIFI? ====

Download the last megapackage 3.x to update your gateway from the :
  * [[.gateway_sw_3.2|3.2 Gateway Software Releases page]] to upgrade your gateway with the last 3.2 embedded software\\ 
  * [[.gateway_sw_3.3|3.3 Gateway Software Releases page]] to upgrade your gateway with the last 3.3 embedded software\\ 

For a software upgrade on kerOS products (Wirnet iBTS and Wirnet iFemtocell) via a local access (SSH, USB), the megapackage need to be deflated twice in order to get ipk packages.\\

Then apply the software update procedure defined above: \\

If you proceed software upgrade via the dashboard (Drag and Drop or Workflow feature), you don't need to deflate the megapackage.

==== How to upgrade my gateway that is static-IP assigned (ETHERNET)? ====

  - First, if your software release is a 3.1 embedded software release, rebuild the ''lan.config'' file (copy lan.config.keros3 if exists) and save it into the ''/etc/network/connman'' directory.
  - Wait for reconnection to the WMC
  - Download the last megapackage 3.x to update your gateway from the:\\ \\
