From firmware 1.1.1 upgrade can be triggered from:

• USB
• HTTP rest
• FTP server
• Web interface

Consult the user guide for more information.

To trigger an upgrade use an upgrade file: keros_X.X.X-spn_klk-wifc.ipk. Upgrade files are available in the firmware resources pages.

• Configuration parameters are not impacted by the firmware upgrade except the RX configuration parameters. LoRa RX parameters need to be reconfigure after the upgrade.
  
• Fleet configuration is not impacted by the firmware upgrade.
• All SPN parameters and the fleet can be uploaded/downloaded (in JSON formated files) to configure/backup the gateway.
  
• If an upgrade is triggered, these files will have to be regenerated to comply with the new firmware.

Upgrade can only be triggered from the web interface. After the loading bar is full wait at least 30s to be sure that the software is upload. When the software is loaded, go in the Station tab and reboot the gateway.

• Configuration parameters are not impacted by the firmware upgrade except the RX configuration parameters. LoRa RX parameters need to be reconfigure after the upgrade.
• Fleet configuration is not impacted by the firmware upgrade.
  

To uninstall SPN and come back to a nominal firmware, a special ipk package must be used.
The firmware packages provided on the iFemtoCell wiki (not the iFemtoCell SPN wiki) cannot be used. This special package is available in the resources page.
