SPN upgrade
This page concern the firmware upgrade. It is only dedicated to gateways with the SPN firmware already installed.
From firmware 1.1.1
From firmware 1.1.1 upgrade can be triggered from:
- USB
- HTTP rest
- FTP server
- Web interface
Consult the user guide for more information.
An upgrade package is required to trigger an upgrade: keros_X.X.X-spn_klk-wifc.ipk. Upgrade files are available in the firmware resources pages.
Once the loading bar is full, a few seconds are required to see the reboot station button.
Impacts on your network
- Configuration parameters are not impacted by the firmware upgrade except the RX configuration parameters. LoRa RX parameters need to be reconfigured after the upgrade.
- Fleet configuration is not impacted by the firmware upgrade.
- All SPN parameters and the fleet can be uploaded/downloaded (in JSON formated files) to configure/backup the gateway.
- If an upgrade is triggered, these files will have to be regenerated to comply with the new firmware.
Firmware 1.0.3
Upgrade can only be triggered from the web interface. Once the loading bar is full, at least 30s are required to be sure that the software is uploaded. When the software is loaded, go to the Station tab and reboot the gateway.
