FAQ - Gateway Software Upgrade for WMC 3.0
The gateway is considered connected to the WMC using embedded software 2.3.x or 3.0.
The Magic link can also be used to upgrade your KerOS products (Wirnet iBTS and Wirnet iFemtoCell. Follow this Magic Link to perform this.
Do not use the magic link to update a Wirnet Station which has a 2.3.3 embedded software.
You may loose the WMC connection ! Follow the procedure described above depending of your backhaul configuration (DHCP, static IP, cellular)

How to upgrade my gateway that is DHCP assigned with 3.0 embedded software?
Download the last megapackage 3.0 to update your gateway from the Resource page
For a software upgrade on kerOS products (Wirnet iBTS and Wirnet iFemtocell) via a local access (SSH, USB), the megapackage need to be deflated twice in order to get ipk packages.
Then apply the software update procedure defined above:

Wirnet iFemtoCell: http://wikikerlink.fr/wirnet-ifemtocell/doku.php?id=wirnet-ifemtocell:software_updates
If you proceed software upgrade via the dashboard (Drag and Drop or Workflow feature), you don't need to deflate the megapackage.
How to upgrade my gateway that is static-IP assigned with 3.0 embedded software?
For Wirnet Station:
- Download SNMP and BSCC packages from the Resource page of the current Wiki and upgrade your GW with these packages by using the Software Update Drag and Drop feature.
- Once connected to the WMC, check your network config from the WMC dashboard (Management>Configurations>Backhaul). Network config should be up to date (no DHCP defined).
For KerOs Products (Wirnet iBTS, Wirnet iFemtoCell):

How to upgrade my gateway that is GSM-configured with 3.0 embedded software?
For Wirnet Station:
- Download SNMP and BSCC packages from the Resource page of the current Wiki and upgrade your GW with these packages by using the Software Update Drag and Drop feature.
- Once connected to the WMC, check your network config from the WMC dashboard (Management>Configurations>Backhaul). Network config should be up to date (APN should be correctly defined).
For KerOs Products (Wirnet iBTS, Wirnet iFemtoCell):
