Compatibility
Hardware
- Fully compatible with CPU hardware from version d. The CPU hardware version corresponds to the lowercase letter after “AT” in the CPU board serial number. For example if the CPU board serial number is “ATe0505ae” the version is e.
- Partially compatible with version b because of a change of CPU board button. On version b, the CPU button is only use for reset. On upper versions the ON/OFF button can have many uses.
Software
- Compatible with iBTS products with Kerlink Production fuses or without any fuses flashed.
- Simple update (keros.ipk) incompatible with 1.x or 2.x firmwares → Use of liveburner packages is MANDATORY

Keros : Basic Firmware for iBTS
The system configuration files did not change from 3.1.13 to 3.1.16. If a system configuration file (for example fileX) has been customized in version 3.1.13, it will be kept in version 3.1.13. In addition a new file named fileX.opkg is created during the upgrade. It is only used as reference in case the user would like to come back to the original configuration.
Liveburner :
- Update stock restore version with FW 3.1.16.
- Reset the default password on your gateway.
- Erase the whole partition to reinstall the firmware.

Due to multiple changes in eMMC layout, 3.x.y and 1.x.y firmwares ARE NOT compatible. liveburner_legacy is the ONLY package able to upgrade from 1.x.y to 3.x.y.
