Semtech Packet Forwarder V2 v4.0.0-klk7 (July 2017)
Restrictions
- Previous versions of the packet forwarder need to be manually uninstalled before installing this version of the software.
- No fine timestamp available when using SF8 BW500 datarate.
- The example configuration file ‘’config_single_antenna_64ch_US915.json’’ misses one “chan_LoRa_std » field and one “chan_FSK” field
Compatibility
Packet forwarder v4.0.0 is only compatible with :
- KerOS firmware v3.x.x
- FPGA firmware v58
- Semtech HAL v4.0.1.

json configuration file example
json configuration file examples are installed by default under /user/spf2/etc/.
To upgrade your gateway follow the software update procedure.
Packet forwarder logs will be available in
/var/log/messages files.
