Firmware

Compatibility

Hardware

  • Compatible with Wirnet™ i-series gateways (Wirnet iBTS, Wirnet iFemtoCell, Wirnet iStation and Wirnet iFemtoCell-evolution).

Details

Software

  • Compatible with Wirnet™ i-series gateways secured with Kerlink Production fuses or without any fuses flashed.
  • Regular update (keros.ipk) is incompatible with firmware older than v4.0.x → In order to keep your data, first update in v4.0.x using liveburner package, this is MANDATORY.
  • Liveburner 4.2.2 package is compatible with 3.x and 4.x firmware.

Due to multiple KerOS changes, direct update in v4.2.2 IS NOT COMPATIBLE from firmware v3.x, v2.x and v1.x.
In order to keep your data, it is required first to update the gateway in v4.0 with the liveburner to be able to update it after with the KerOS package v4.2.2.
For the update in v4.0, please refer to the Upgrade from KerOS version 3.x to 4.0 with custom liveburner page.

Delivery

The firmware is released in two formats: KerOS and Liveburner.

KerOS : Update the Firmware
To update the firmware from v4.0 or 4.1 to v4.2.2, the regular update procedure can be used. See system upgrade page.
